It was a good course for a refresher point of view, but could have been better if the methods and functions were explained properly, as there were a few methods that were used but not explained the purpose of using them.

It is a good course to get you up and running. If you don't have a background with dealing with JS errors, you will find a hard time because you will face some other than the ones he faced. Yet if you want to get to know how to start with node.js, this is a very good surface level course.

Section 4 is helpful in setting up a Node.js server. I want to minimize dependencies so I haven't installed Express at this point. It would be helpful to have a section on deploying to Digital Ocean. I found that the settings need to be changed in app deployment on there to watch port 3000 instead of the default 8080. I also found that my file changes are not monitored so I have to run npm start every time I make changes and define that line in my package.json file.

Not properly explained just codes are written without any mean of explaining why and how and even what does each code do this is not even a good course to start with

Some basic mistakes have been done like not catching errors while transacting data to DB and I am a learner so don't know how to do it.

This is surprisingly quite detailed for a free course. The need for me was to understand JS and coding style in Node JS as I write most backend code in Python and need to pick up Node for this one project, this course teaches that well.

Informative, yet you can't expect alot explanations. Since it's simple and free course. But if you don't know where to start, this is a good one to scratch informations about Node.js

Hilft mir nicht sehr zu verstehen, was ich denn eigentlich mit nodejs machen kann, warum ich es benutzen sollte. Das Knackgeräusch am Beginn jeder Lektion tut weh.
