We show you how AJAX works and how to use JSON to transfer and output data onto your webpage.

We use HTML and CSS to setup the webpage, and JavaScript to pull data onto the page.

I really didn't like the course, I was expecting more theory, and base foundations, connections between backend and front end is very superficial. It can be very confusing for a beginner or can be a success with just follow steps but doesn't have a very clear idea about what is going on.

Thanks for course, but there should be lots of improvement for this: 1. API that used in this course is outdated 2. Need more detail for each social media API example so that we can understand more about that. 3. Lazy pdf documentation (just adding materials like trash without adding detail architecture and more explanation)

OK so far. Good overall but pretty lax explanation of REST API. Should have skipped trying to explain it.

IMHO Computer should be a bit faster, cause if one pays for the course he shouldn’t spend time on waiting instructor’s computer loading. Reducing this time can make course up to 20% faster. Also want to highlight, that if one makes a course, he should test cases he want to show it every lecture (moreover they take a few minutes), so there will be less mistakes etc

The course is very rough around the edges. The instructor makes a lot of mistakes that should have been redone or edited out, but instead it seems like the instructor did a first pass on the videos and left it. The course is more geared towards "hacking" a few API's by using libraries and less on API's in theory. You're often just pointed to a github library and then the lesson ends.

The course is very basic and while great for specifically creating google maps or facebook logins, it is not real complete for trying to learn how to connect to a random company's API.

Straight to the point and have not received errors in output. Google Maps API was a little too simplified would've enjoyed some added depth.

Everything you need to know to get started using JSON data from the web, or the Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook APIs on your web pages. Easy to understand and follow along. I highly recommend this course.

The course begins mid sentence. The audio cuts in and out and this is distracting. As far as the content--it's mostly just pointing towards documentation. Doesn't actually show you how to code 3rd party APIs into your app.

The course is direct, practical and comprehensive. The only disadvantage is that the instructor assumes that the trainee has experience in web programming.
