The instructor was boring in his delivery of the content; which he didn't seem to have gone through before recording the lectures. He was quite often surprised and unsure of why excel was giving different outcomes. The overall course time could have been shorter if he didn't waffle so much. I have seen better excel lessons on YouTube.

The guy is knowledgeable, but he's trying to "wing it". If you're making a recording, there should be no interrupting of yourself or awkward explanations. There should also be no editorializing of which functions you don't like. Course leader is frequently surprized at the results he gets when he applies the formulas. Why? Didn't he walk through his own course beforehand? Should have prepared more before recording, then do as many retakes and edits as needed so everything is smooth.

The instructor really harped on the fact that using the macos would not be beneficial for the course. Sadly, that is all I have to work with so it is very disheartening to hear without even starting the course.

I was at 80% Hero, so I understood it all even though it was presented very quickly. For a true beginner, assuming a 25% Level, this course should be studied over 17 weeks so that it can be fully absorbed. Overall, it was exciting to have access to the mental workings of a true expert and lean not only the functions of Excel but, more importantly for me, how to think about its applications.

You could have just mention in the description of the course that you’ll be teaching Excel only on PC. And that you need to set up a virtual installation of Windows if you have a Mac. Your course may be fine but this is on the border of deceit.

I have taken Pyhton and data science courses with Jose Portillo and they were excellent. Todd Hanford appears to be knowledgeable, but comes across as unrehearsed. This detracts from the subject matter.
