Towards the end of the course seemed to be more about networking and general IT, not about passing the Sec+ exam

Very thorough course but I found that only sections 1 - 13 pertained to me. If you have experience building pc's section 14 can be skipped as it is a bit outdated anyways but good for a beginner. Section 15 will be very crucial to you if you have no experience in networking as it explains all the basics.

It's a pretty good course that gives a little more than a cursory glance at relevant concepts. I think it would be best used in conjunction with other resources like Professor Messer, as well as practice tests. Good stuff, though!

The first reason I left the rating is due to the fact that the lecture went above and beyond. There was material involved that helps in real world situations. The material was taught in an efficient manner where everyone can understand it. The course was specifically tailored as opposed to just teaching what needed to be taught with no passion.
