This class has given me a better learning experience than another class I am also taking. The explanations are clear and the examples are great! If I didn't already have some understanding of the subject I might need to go back and review a couple times because the content goes by quickly, but it's explained well enough that I wouldn't be lost. All his courses give you a tremendous amount of information. This one is great because if focuses on one topic and that is the Browser DOM. Many courses discuss the DOM but not in this much detail. Taught me a lot about options that I didn’t know exist.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I like that the course stayed on topic!!! I've taken other courses and they never put enough emphasis on DOM nodes and mutations. In the real world, we are expected to know this and his examples were so clear. The length of the talks were perfect. Great explanations to what was going on and how the code impacts the DOM. One of my favorite courses and I will definitely be reviewing and using these fundamentals.

BIt of a hidden gem, this course. Surprised it doesn't have more students. Short and sweet, with a pretty fast-paced run through of a ton of stuff you can do with JavaScript and DOM manipulation. Liberal sprinkling of exercises and source code so that you can very quickly get your hands dirty, trying things out (which, for me, at least, is a great way of getting this stuff down.) Complete with a couple of nice pdfs to ram home the key points, for the readers amongst us. Thanks, Laurence - nice one.
