Fantastic course for anyone who needs to brush up on their routing knowledge or learn from scratch. I like Maher's teaching style, which cuts straight to the point without sacrificing detail. I also had a few questions for him and he was very fast to reply to them. I would recommend, however starting this course with the "Learn MikroTik ROUTE with Hands-on LABS from scratch" lessons first, before going to "OSPF on MikroTik with LABS", i.e do the course in reverse order. And do yourself a favor and use Virtualbox.

So far everything has been easy to comprehend and get set up. I would recommend putting the GNS3 labs first and foremost because the "course 1" labs jump straight to configuring the mikrotik equipment that you had to set up in the first 3 labs in "course 2". I had a couple issues getting GNS3 and the chr image working properly but the instructor was quick to answer all my questions and it was errors I had made in haste and not something related to the course. The last thing I would change is the overwhelming intro and exit music that is on EVERY video, get rid of it or turn the volume down please, I don't think it adds anything to the videos and I don't want to listen to the same jingle 50 times..... 1 time is plenty.

This course has greatly advanced my understanding of routing with OSPF and RIP. I do think the class should have started with the RIP lectures then moved to OSPF, but either way this class is awesome. Now its time to start learning BGP.

The course is really straight forward, I recommend it. The half star missing in my rating is because it takes some troubleshooting to get the labs working depending on the routerOS version you use presumably. Everything else is great so far!
