Good examples to start with expected to have more real world project example. The examples are not as per production grade design. Also kafka basics are covered and not the professional use cases like retention time of messages. Distributed brokers and partitions structure needed to be covered in more detailed.

You could have explained group ID for the Kafka topic a bit better. Partitions and distributed partition of the message across topics could have been explained in a better way. The last section is just a repetition of the previous one without a database. Good for beginners.
